Vietnam Experience
To commemorate the 50th Anniversay of the Vietnam War, I was asked to rebuild The Vietnam Experience website. One of the primary goals for the new design was to invite people to become involved in preparing for the anniversary event by taking a survey, sharing memories relating to the war and offering feedback. It was also constructed to be extensible, where additional content and features could be built out in phases. (Click on the image to see the actual site.)
OpSail
Operation Sail (a.k.a. "OpSail") is a non-profit organization that brings together the world's remaining tall ships to promote goodwill among nations. For the 2012 Bicentennial of the War of 1812 tour, I built two sites for OpSail – the main site and a secondary site focused specifically on the OpSail2012 event. Strategic Communications
This was a fun project because someone else did the design work. All I had to do was build the site and add flash functionality for navigation and image transitions. Given that the design is so clean and elegant, I tried to come up with animations that were subtle, yet would give the site some vibrancy. That's not easy with something like this where there's a lot going on, but I think it came out nice. (Click on the image to see the actual site.)
Bauman Group
I built this site entirely in Flash. It's highly interactive, with lots of pizzazz and special effects. It also incorporates special features for optimized Google site ranking. (Click on the image to see the actual site.)
